Places

A hand-drawn map of the journey and the Manitoba places named in the memoir. It replaces the map screenshot in the 2011 addendum, which is not republished. Distances are the ones he gives: about thirty miles from Dauphin to the homestead, eighteen to the railroad work at Sifton, five to the Venlaw post office, thirty-two miles on foot to Dauphin for supplies, twenty miles from Venlaw to Ethelbert for the play.
